DETAIL OF THE BENEFITS GIVEN IN THE PROGRAMME

(ALSO MENTION THE AMOUNT OF SUBSIDY OR OTHER HELP GIVEN):

1.	Biogas Plant	i.	Cheaper and better fuel for cooking and lighting.
		ii.	Good quality manure to supplement and optimise the use of chemical fertilizers.
2.	Improved Chullahs	i.	for fuel saving
		ii.	If helps in removal and reduction of smoke from the kitchen
		iii.	can cook more than one food at a time.
		iv.	Conservation and preservation of environment
		v.	Reduces health problem and provides employment to rural poor people.
3.	Briquetting Anguthi	i.	It can save fuel consumption
		ii.	It can produce much heat
		iii.	It can be used for fast cooking and warming of room because of much heat.
4.	Village Electrification	i.	Energy conservation and for Rural Electrification of remote and un-electrified villages.
5.	Preparation of DPR for cluster of Villages	i.	To expand and improve energy supply and availability for various services.
		ii.	To encourage energy substitution through Renewable Sources wherever possible.
		iii.	To improve the pattern of distribution of energy in the Society and to bring about greater social equality and more balance regional development.
		iv.	To contribute towards better ecology, preservation of forests and Biomass cover and to reduce the existing hazards to health and environment.
		v.	To stimulate economic activity and employment generation and to improve the quality of life, in the rural areas.
	Procedure for the distribution of the subsidy		Depending on the type of scheme, subsidy is distributed to all Districts equally as practicable.
